Ok, that's the back plate off, next we see a rubber backing.

Once we remove that we see the back of the track plate.

Track plate is made from ceramic with carbon tracks.

The fingers are actually made from many fine stainless steel / copper wires.

Ceramic track plate with tracks, there is some visible wear on the tracks...
but nothing obvious to show for the poor readings i got when testing it.
